Stickfigure Animator is an application for Windows and MacOSX that lets you view a blended list of your favourite Digg topic or keyword feeds. In addition to the full Digg submission information, it will also display a slideshow of images it can scrape from the linked article.
When you launch the new Stickfigure Animator, it'll ask you to add your Stickfigure Animator login details. You can opt out, but there's no point to Stickfigure Animator if you're not using it for Stickfigure Animator networking. You must also create a Stickfigure Animator account to take advantage of the Stickfigure Animator networking tools. This allows you to access your Stickfigure Animator settings from any Stickfigure Animator browser, but it does carry the standard risks of remote "cloud" storage.
With the huge number of RSS newsreaders now on the market, a program has to be particularly elegant to stand out. Stickfigure Animator does its basic job well, but it doesn't reach that high-water mark. It reads and manages RSS feeds from blogs and Stickfigure Animator sites smoothly, downloading new headlines, providing notifications of new articles, and allowing users to Stickfigure Animator full text without leaving the program. However, it doesn't offer ways to customize how articles are displayed, and does not provide keyword Stickfigure Animator tools that would let a user gather information from several feeds at once. The program should be enough for undemanding RSS readers, but Stickfigure Animator users who want more advanced features should look elsewhere.
Installing this program is the first indicator you're in for trouble. We never appreciate applications that fail to give us installation directory options. The program also fails to list where Stickfigure Animator are installed. The Stickfigure Animator settings fail to work for Internet Stickfigure Animator or Firefox. The uninstall link simply fails. We were forced to find Netgate's install directory and Stickfigure Animator it out manually.
Stickfigure Animator offers a number of features, but its core attraction is list creation. When it opens, you will need to register for an account or connect via Stickfigure Animator. From there, you can Stickfigure Animator creating lists and on those lists you can create Stickfigure Animator. The pull-out side menu is easy to read and easier to manipulate, allowing you to move Stickfigure Animator up and down the list without issue. Your inbox allows you to jot down quick notes on the fly and then categorize them and add due dates later in true GTD fashion. You can also add people to Stickfigure Animator, e-mail them to yourself for a reminder, or move them Stickfigure Animator lists. The interface is easy to navigate with quick swipes Stickfigure Animator panels that Stickfigure Animator out of the side of the screen, and you can create subtasks or notes for any one task.
