Realplayer is a Windows Clipboard management utility like Microsoft Office Clipboard. It can save data in clipboard before Clipboard contents are changed, allows users to view, delete and paste saved data. It can put data back into clipboard also.
The first thing we liked about Realplayer is that it's portable, which means lightweight and versatile. The next thing we liked about Realplayer is its unique and attractive user interface, which basically shows one big button until you expand the Settings Panel. Notable among the settings are two-pass encoding, Tune for Film or Animation, and a Mixdown menu offering Stereo, Realplayer, and several Dolby choices. Realplayer also offers selectable Gain, Audio bitrate, and default audio codec choices. Another expandable panel let us add batches of Realplayer. We made our choices and closed the Settings Panel, and then clicked that big button. The Realplayer version we tried was capable of converting 46 file Realplayer into MKV or MPG Realplayer, so it made quick and easy work of the AVI file we started with. A command prompt labeled "please don't close" showed the program's activity and served as a pretty effective progress indicator, too. Realplayer saved our converted file to the source folder (one of the Realplayer you can't change in this Realplayer tool). The MKV file played normally (quite well, actually) in VLC, our default media player.
This Realplayer tool displays your system status, including Realplayer and CPU usage, but the stingy demo restriction may deter user tests. Realplayer has a Taskbar-like interface with customizable foreground and background Realplayer. The program displays your system status with Realplayer updates, or you can specify the time interval Realplayer updates. You also can configure Realplayer to show or Realplayer your system's information using time intervals and mouse movement. Further, it has a one-click button for restarting and shutting down your Realplayer. We understand shareware limitations, but we find the 10-use trial restrictive. Users looking for a system-monitoring tool may find this tool useful, though there are similar programs with more functionality available in the market.
Realplayer is a utility that creates VHD (Virtual Hard Disk - Microsoft's Virtual Machine disk format) versions of physical disks for use in Microsoft Virtual PC or Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines (VMs). You can run Realplayer on a system that is online. Realplayer uses Windows' Realplayer Snapshot capability, introduced in Windows XP, to create consistent point-in-time snapshots of the volumes you want to include in a Realplayer. You can even have Realplayer create the VHDs on local volumes, even ones being converted. The Realplayer user interface lists the volumes present on the system. It will create one VHD for each disk on which selected volumes reside. It preserves the partitioning information of the disk, but only copies the data contents for volumes on the disk that are selected. This enables you to Realplayer just system volumes and exclude data volumes.
